Every brand has something to say. Graphic design is how it says it before anyone reads a word — through colour, form, proportion, and the hundred small decisions that add up to a visual identity. At Redmonk, design isn't a finishing step. It's where we start.
What We Do
Our graphic design work spans the full range of visual communication — brand identity systems, marketing materials, digital assets, illustration, motion graphics, and video. Whether a client is launching a brand from scratch, refreshing one that's grown stale, or needs a campaign brought to life visually, the work starts in the same place: understanding what the brand actually stands for.
How We Work
Before we open a single file, we spend time understanding the brand — its voice, its values, its audience, and the impression it wants to leave. Design that doesn't emerge from that understanding tends to look good in isolation and feel off in context. We've seen it happen enough times that we're disciplined about not skipping this step.
From there, the process is genuinely collaborative. We share early directions, invite feedback, and iterate in the open — not because we're uncertain, but because the best work happens when clients are in the conversation rather than waiting at the end of it.
The Tools
We work across the Adobe suite — Illustrator for identity and vector work, Photoshop for image treatment and compositing, After Effects for motion and animation. For more complex motion or 3D work we bring in the right tools for the job. What matters isn't the software; it's whether the output does what it needs to do.
Why It Matters
- A strong visual identity is a competitive asset — it signals quality, builds recognition, and earns trust before a conversation starts.
- Consistent design across touchpoints compounds over time. Every well-executed piece reinforces the whole.
- Motion and animation expand what static design can communicate — especially across digital channels where attention is scarce.
- Design that starts from brand strategy ages better. It doesn't need to be redesigned every time the messaging shifts.
Working with Redmonk
We work with founders building their first visual identity, established brands that have outgrown their current look, and product teams that need design thinking applied to interfaces and communications simultaneously. The engagements vary; the approach doesn't.
If you're trying to close the gap between how your brand looks and how it should look, we'd like to talk about it.
